Summary: Yamada confesses.

     It was raining heavily, yet he didn't give up searching. He ran along the streets, in the heavy rain, searching for that someone, someone very important. Finally he found him, sitting alone at the bus stop. His face was pale, he was shivering. That person didn't see him though, because he was facing the other way. Slowly he walked towards him, embracing him from behind.

     'I'm such a fool,' Yamada thought. 'Why did I ran away?' he asked himself, remembering his pathetic confession earlier on.

 

     It was already the end of school. Yamada waited for Takaki at the school gate. When he finally saw the older teen, he waved timidly. Takaki stopped in front of him, smiling.

 

     "Konbanwa, T-Takaki-senpai," Yamada greeted.

 

     "Konbanwa," Takaki ruffled Yamada's hair, causing a light blush to appear on the younger teen's face.

 

     "Ne, can I talk to you for a moment? Alone?"

 

     "Sure," said Takaki. Looking at Yabu, he said, "I'll catch up with you later." Yabu nodded and both Takaki and Yamada went ahead to a nearby park.

 

     "So, what is it that you wanted to tell me?" Takaki sat on the swing.

 

     "Anou, Takaki-senpai, I-..."

 

     Yamada was cut off by Takaki's cell phone ringing. Looking at Yamada apologetically, he turned off his cell phone. "Gomen, you can continue now, Yama-chan."

 

     "Uh...w-w-well," Yamada stuttered. "A-Actually, T-T-Takaki-s-senpai," Yamada shut his eyes, his face grew warmer, "I love you!" His eyes shut tighter, he waited for Takaki's answer. One minute. Two minutes. Three minutes. Takaki didn't answer. Yamada opened his eyes. Takaki was standing still, stunned. Yamada immediately bowed. "G-G-Gomenasai!" Before Takaki could say anything, Yamada ran away.

 

     Yamada hugged his knees to his chest. "I wonder what Takaki-senpai thinks of me now." Yamada was startled when someone hugged him from behind. Yamada could feel that person rested his chin on his shoulder. 

 

     "Why did you ran off?"      

 

     Yamada could feel the blush crept its way to his face. "I'm scared of what your answer may be."

 

     Takaki nuzzled his face at Yamada's neck. "Gomen ne, for making you scared."

 

     "Takaki-senpai," Yamada said, barely above whisper.

 

     "I love you too, Yama-chan."

 

     Yamada was stunned for a few seconds. Then, he smiled warmly. His hands reached for Takaki's, which was around his shoulder. Both of them stayed like that, as the cold rain pouring, in the silence that only both of them understood.

Yamada was startled when someone hugged him from behind. Yamada could feel that person rested his chin on his shoulder.
